Tip #1: Eat Breakfast
Yes, yes, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but if you need to avoid falling asleep in the afternoon, breakfast really can help. When you start your day off strong, your body carries energy through to the afternoon. It hasn’t had to deplete reserves.
Tip #2: Eat Lunch
Hmm…this seems to be a theme, doesn’t it? The fact is that breakfast and lunch provide you fuel for the entire day. Of course, a heavy lunch just tends to make the problem worse. However, at each of these two meals, eat a few carbohydrates and some protein. Carbohydrates give you a quick shot of energy.
